NELA

NELA is an intimate study of the great classical ballerina, Marianela Nuñez, as she dances to music by Nina Simone, choreographed by Will Tuckett.

The film was premiered in cinemas around the world as part of a live relay from The Royal Ballet.

It has played at numerous film festivals including Dance On Camera 2019 at New York’s Lincoln Centre. It has won the overall festival prize at Flatlands Dance Film Festival 2019.
